WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE LOCATED?
Our main office is located at 960 Teaneck Road, Suite 201, Teaneck, NJ 07666, with free parking and is conveniently located off Route 4 in Teaneck, New Jersey approximately 4 miles from the George Washington Bridge. Our New York office temporarily closed during Covid. We are available to meet by telephone, video, in our New Jersey office, or at a mutually agreeable place. Paskoff & Tamber, LLP is authorized to perform immigration law in all 50 states and we have successfully represented clients located throughout the United States and the World.
AM I ELIGIBLE FOR A GREEN CARD?
There are many different ways to apply for and obtain a Green card, most commonly through close family members. However there are more options, Follow the link: https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-eligibility-categories where USCIS lists different ways to get a green card - if you don't know which category you fall under you can always schedule a consultation.
HOW MUCH ARE THE LEGAL FEES?
No two cases are the same. Legal fees vary from case to case. Although most of our services are provided on a flat fee basis, several factors impact the final cost of an immigration matter, including how time intensive your case is, the complexity of the matter, the type of petition or applications required to be filed, and whether attorney appearances are required at a hearing or an interview. After your consultation, we will provide you with a retainer agreement that outlines the total cost for the work required. At Paskoff & Tamber, LLP, we take pride in providing an explanation of your case so there are no hidden fees or upcharges that can be experienced with other law firms.
DO YOU OFFER FREE CONSULTATIONS?
Yes. In this post-Covid world, we offer a FREE 15-minute initial telephone or video consultation. This initial meeting is intended to find out about your immigration history, what issues are present, and what options are available yo you. We request that any important immigration related documents be emailed (info@Visa311.com) or faxed (877-323-9766) to our office in advance of the initial meeting to make the consultation as productive as possible. There is a $150 consultation fee for in-person meetings. If the client hires Paskoff & Tamber, LLP within 30 days of the meeting, the paid consultation fee is credited towards the agreed upon retainer fee.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, most of our retainer agreements already specify a payment plan based on milestones achieved in your case. We are willing to work with our clients to arrange affordable payment plans to ease the payment of legal fees for our clients. All filing fees and other expenses must be paid at the time we file your case.

CAN I LEGALLY WORK WHILE WAITING FOR A GREEN CARD?
If you are in the United States on a valid work visa, you may continue to work while your Green Card application is pending. If you do not have a work visa, you must apply for employment authorization and cannot work until your employment authorization application is approved by USCIS. We can advise you whether you are eligible to apply for employment authorization while your Green Card application is pending.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET A GREEN CARD?
There are many different ways to qualify for a Green Card, and each way takes a different amount of time to get a decision from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). In some cases it can take less than a year, but in other cases it can take more than three years.
